Node Mono began as a passion project and a personal exploration into type design, born out of curiosity about how letterforms behave when built on a strict underlying grid. Every character is constructed within this grid system, testing how much expression and legibility can be drawn from a rigid, modular structure. As the first typeface in the Node family, it lays the groundwork for a broader system of type exploration still in development.
